Essence is a sculpture celebrating our beginnings and harnessing mother nature to weather and age the piece as she sees fit .
Essence is James’ first unlit Sculptural piece and the start of a new design journey into the realm of Sculpture and large scale Art.
The piece has sat for a period of 6 months in a coastal environment, sand, sea and wild weather have helped create unique textures and indentations in the material.
Wall mounted on a pivot system, Essence is a dynamic piece with movement being an important aspect of how the piece is viewed.
