Essence is a sculpture that celebrates our origins and harnesses the power of Mother Nature to weather and age the piece according to her design.
Essence is James's first unlit sculptural piece and marks the beginning of a new design journey into the realm of sculpture and large-scale art.
The piece has been situated in a coastal environment for six months, where sand, sea, and harsh weather conditions have contributed to the formation of unique textures and indentations in the material.
Wall-mounted on a pivot system, the Essence is a dynamic piece, with movement being a crucial aspect of its visual appeal.
