Four Points by sheraton

In 2018, James Russ undertook a significant project to create sculptural lighting for the prestigious Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Auckland. The centerpiece of this endeavor was the Queenshead ballroom, which required large-scale feature lights capable of seamlessly transitioning from task lighting to a tranquil, ambient atmosphere when dimmed. The result was a stunning fusion of modern LED technology and artistic finesse, manifested through slender lights sculpted in sweeping curves. These innovative designs, a collaborative effort between James Russ, Statement ID, and Studio Design and Architecture, provide a sensory experience reminiscent of sparklers gracefully meandering through the air, adding a touch of enchantment to the hotel's ambiance.
